The Roastery
Only the highest grade 100% Arabica beans from all over the world are selected to be roasted daily in our European Probat coffee roaster. The beans are roasted, blended, bagged and dispatched from our Havelock North roastery all on the same day so that the coffee arrives to it’s destination as fresh as possible.
Coffee For Your Home Or Office
We use an overnight courier to ship coffee all over the country. Our coffee can be ground to suit any method of preparation weather it be for your office filter machine or for your morning plunger. Feel free to talk to us about setting you up on a standing order.
Your Cafe
We pride ourselves on providing exceptional customer service to our wholesale customers. This can include barista training at your café or in our dedicated barista training area. We can advise you on the best way to set up your café and offer a wide selection of the highest quality Italian espresso machines, grinders and all coffee accessories. Our experienced espresso machine technician takes care of any technical problems and will keep your machine and grinder regularly serviced.
The Espresso Bar
The Espresso Bar is attached to the roastery in Havelock North Village. Visitors are able to absorb themselves in coffee through the various sights, sounds and aromas of the roasting process, while sitting over a cup of espresso and maybe one of the world famous Hawthorne scones or Pipi baked cakes. A retail area allows coffee fiends to source the best in equipment and machinery. Original contemporary New Zealand art from our friends at Paper-Works Gallery hangs on the walls and is rotated regularly. Free wireless internet is available. Take home coffee is weighed, ground and bagged while you wait.
