Welcome to Hawthorne Coffee Online. Here you can find out a little bit about us and order award-winning freshly roasted coffee from our online shop.

Established in 2001, Hawthorne has since earned the reputation of  Hawke’s Bay’s premium fresh coffee supplier. With more awards than you can shake a stick at and a dedication to excellence, Hawthorne supplies a number of leading establishments around the North Island.

We roast every day here at the roastery and always endeavour to have coffee sent the day we receive an order or straight after roasting the following morning. We use an overnight courier for out of town deliveries and all parcels are tracked so we can make sure they don’t end up on someone elses doorstep!

News Flash!! Hawthorne Now New Zealand’s Most Awarded Coffee Roastery

Since the first New Zealand coffee awards in 2004 Hawthorne Coffee Roasters has received 12 medals for its coffee blends including two gold’s and six silvers. Two more silver medals were won at the recent 2009 Coffee Awards.
This makes Hawthorne the most awarded boutique Coffee Roastery in New Zealand.
The awards were run using international judging criteria and were overseen by the Executive Director of the World Barista Championships.
